Gas Boiler Service
Gas boilers need to be serviced annually. I offer a full gas boiler service and complete safety check on the appliance as part of the annual service.
The service involves more than just a quick clean and visual check.
The service includes a complete safety check of boiler functions, boiler casing, flue inspection, combustion analysis to check the boiler is performing within the manufacturer guidelines.
Appliance ventilation requirements will also be inspected.
A gas soundness test to ensure the gas installation has no gas leaks is also carried out.
On completion, a printout for this test will be left with the customer along with an RGII Declaration of Conformance Certificate.
The annual gas boiler service, will improve the boilers efficiency and, more importantly, sometimes small issues can be addressed if picked up during the service before they can result in a costly repair.
Gas Boiler Breakdown & Repairs
Gas boilers can break down without warning. This is an inconvenience as it may result in no heat or hot water.
Responding to a breakdown, we make every effort to resolve the problem on the first visit.
If replacement parts are required, where possible, the part will be sourced and a quotation (see our Pricing) will be given to the customer before proceeding with the repair.
This is so there are no nasty shocks when the work is complete.
On completion, I will issue the customer with a RGII Declaration of Conformance Certificate.
